Farm to Table & Folktales

dinner inviteJoin us for a delicious and relaxing farm to table dinner to benefit the Toledo History Museum (THM) at the Ward Pavilion in Wildwood Metropark on Friday, October 19th from 5:30 to 9:00 pm.

We have prepared a one-of-a-kind evening featuring Glass City culinary history. Leading this food journey is Chef Scott Bowman, of Fowl and Fodder.

Throughout the evening, we will share images and interviews about Toledo food traditions and their role in Toledo history in between sets of music performed by Addison Schmidt. A cash bar will be hosted by Toledo Spirits.

For dinner, guests will be treated to a five course meal featuring Toledo ethnic dishes and locally grown food (Click Here for the Menu).  Guests can select beef or duck for their main course. The dinner will be followed by the closing of our silent auction of Toledo collectibles and entertainment by THM storytellers who will share folktales from Toledo’s past.  Wondering about our folktales theme?  Folktales are oral stories passed down from generation to generation and in some respects history emerged from such accounts.

Cost is $65 for THM members and $75 for non-members. A portion of the cost for each meal is tax deductible. Seating is limited to 150 guests. Please reserve your seats early.  Reservation confirmations will be emailed to you or you can pick them up at the event.

To purchase reservations, please choose a main course of Beef or Duck and complete our online, secure reservation request below.
